Margaret Lucille Lindeman

Margaret Lucille Lindeman, age 82, of Aurora, Mo., passed away at 11:41 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2016, at the Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Mo. She was born Aug. 9, 1934, in Elk Creek, Mo., the daughter of the late Herman and Anna (Foerster) Evans.

Margaret was a 1951 graduate of Willow Springs High School in Willow Springs, Mo. She worked as secretary for the Law Office of Bob Hogan in West Plains, Mo., was a cook for the Aurora R-8 School District and worked at the Heritage Harmony House in Aurora. Margaret was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church in Aurora, where she was very involved and was a member of the LWML ladies group and was a Sunday school teacher for many years.

On July 18, 1959, she married Elmer Lindeman, in West Plains, Mo.

She will be dearly missed by her husband of 57 years, Elmer, of the home; three sons, Bob Lindeman and his wife, Denise, of Wheaton, Missouri, Mark Lindeman and his wife, Tami, and Tim Lindeman and his wife, Tina, all of Aurora; nine grandchildren, Susan Weldy and her husband, Clay, Sarah, Johnny, Devin, Alicia, Amber and Austin Lindeman, Kevin Schlessman and his wife, Amber, and Kallie Bateman and her husband, Josh; seven great-grandchildren, Kellen, Kiera and Brynn Weldy, Devin and Brody Bateman and Addy and Avery Schlessman; one sister, Edna Beasley and her husband, Bill, of Houston, Missouri and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held from 6:00–8:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 23, 2016, at the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 24, 2016, at the Grace Lutheran Church in Aurora. Burial will follow at the Maple Park Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made payable to the Grace Lutheran Church, in care of the funeral home.
