Mary Jean Clark, 69, of Thayer, Mo., was born on Oct. 20, 1948 in Peru, Ind., and departed this life on July 3, 2018.
Mary is survived by four daughters, Lisa McDaniel Harmon of West Plains, Mo., Jackie Williamson of West Plains, Mo., Michelle and husband Eric Brotherton of West Plains, Mo. and Sheila McDaniel of Highland, Ark.; one son, Josh and wife Cyndi McDaniel of Sandford, N.C.; three sisters, Linda and husband Whitey Russell of Claypool, Ind., Jo Lynne Whirl of Fairmount, Ind., and Billie and husband Mark Shaffer of Ft. Myers, Fla.; and one brother, Bob and wife Lu Whirl of Claypool, Ind. She also leaves behind many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and best friend, Terry Wilson.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Chet and Jonita Whirl; a brother, Dickie Whirl; one daughter, Tammy McDaniel; two grandsons, Keifer Pike and Rowdy Brotherton; two granddaughters, Gracianne McClung and Kenslee McClung-Werner; and one great-grandson, Tyler Boucher.
Mary loved to pass time by painting, sewing, crocheting and spending time with her beloved pet, Sonny.
A visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, July 7, 2018, at Carter Funeral Home in West Plains, Mo. Upon her request, there will be no service held.
