Logan Ray, originally of West Plains, and Dr. Marlana McDowell, originally of Jackson, Mo., wed in an outdoor ceremony May 20, 2023, at Wildcliff Event Center, Blackwater, Mo.

Serving as bridesmaids were Stacey Johnson, Brittany Mayfield and Kyla Wills, with Kelsey Shields, sister of the bride, as matron of honor.

Groomsmen were Drew Joice, Michael Harrington and William Cornett. Josh Ray, brother of the groom, was best man.

Ushers were Taylor Webb and Nathaniel Brancato.

The flower girl was Isla Porter, while ring bearers were Oleah and Graham Ray, niece and nephews of the groom.

Officiating the ceremony was the groom's father, Judge R. David Ray.

Ashley Arcand, the bride's cousin, read an excerpt from "A Gentle Reminder" by Bianca Sparacino and Josh and Becca Ray, brother and sister-in-law of the groom, sang "For All You Give" by The Paper Kites.

The bride wore white and the bridesmaids dark red gowns as peonies and roses set the color scheme throughout.

Dinner and dancing followed the ceremony.

The couple honeymooned in Maui, Hawaii.

Marlana and Logan currently live in Cincinnati, Ohio, where she is in her final year of a medical fellowship in uro-gynecology and Logan is a patent attorney with Rockridge Law. In July they will be moving to Kansas City where Marlana will be employed with North KC Hospital.
