Area residents interested in taking classes at Missouri State University-West Plains during the 2024 spring semester can now browse through a list of courses online.
The complete 2024 spring semester course listing can be found at WP.MissouriState.edu/Schedule. The schedule includes classes available at the West Plains campus, in Mtn. Grove and online, officials said. More than 300 classes are listed for the spring semester.
New students can begin enrolling by applying for admission at WP.MissouriState.edu/ApplyNow. For assistance, call the admissions office at 417-255-7955 or email WPAdmissions@MissouriState.edu.
Once admitted, students may contact the advising and academic support office at 417-255-7222 or email WPAdvising@MissouriState.edu for orientation information and assistance with scheduling their courses.
Regular registration for the 2024 spring semester begins Nov. 11. It continues until Jan. 15, 2024. Classes begin Jan. 16, 2024.
Current students can register during an early registration period through Friday. They must have, however, met with their advisers prior to registration. If they have not yet, they should contact them by university phone or email to make an appointment, officials said.
Students are permitted to register during early registration according to a schedule based on the number of credit hours completed, officials said. The early registration schedule for 2024 spring semester classes can be viewed at WP.MissouriState.edu/EarlyRegistration. Students are encouraged to register during appointed times, but they also may register after that time, officials said.
Transfer and readmitted students also may register during early registration based on their number of completed credit hours. They should contact the advising and academic support office to schedule an advising appointment.

Officials with the Veterans Services office will be available during these same advisement and registration times to assist veterans and their dependents with registration and required Veterans Administration forms, according to Mark White, director of the Veterans Incentive Program. All students must complete the registration process by the first day of class.
