MSU-WP streamlines student services with one-stop shop

Posted

On Monday, Missouri State University-West Plains officials announced an update to campus office locations designed to enhance student services through a centralized one-stop shop in Hass-Darr Hall.

The new one-stop shop brings administrative and student support functions under one roof. Located within Hass-Darr Hall, the facility houses Admissions, Academic Advising and Support, Student Life, the Drago College Store, Financial Aid, the Business Office, and Registration and Records. By consolidating these core operations, university officials aim to simplify navigation for students accessing resources in the course of their academic careers.

The administrative shifts were completed over the summer to optimize campus space and place high-demand resources closer to primary student activity areas ahead of the upcoming academic year.

As part of the realignment, several departments relocated to new spaces in Hass-Darr Hall, including the Financial Aid Office in Room 104, Registration and Records in Room 107, the Arch W. Shaw Writing Center in Room 109, the Business Office in Room 110, and Student Life in Room 111.

Additionally, the Counseling Center moved to the Neurodiversity and Autism Center, while the Music Program relocated to Cass Hall.
