Ozarks Healthcare has welcomed back board-certified family nurse practitioner Lakynn Bradshaw to its West Plains Family Medicine clinic, 181 Kentucky Ave. Suite 100.

Bradshaw previously worked at the health system, which included providing care through its walk-in clinic. Her clinical experience spans pediatrics, nursing and family medicine.

She earned her associate degree in nursing at Baptist Health College in Little Rock, Ark., before completing her bachelor's and master's degrees in nursing through Chamberlain University in Addison, Ill.

“I really enjoy family medicine because you get to follow people’s lives for years,” Bradshaw said. “You’re not only taking care of their medical issues, but you’re also building relationships with them and being there for them through different stages of their lives.”

Bradshaw said she was drawn back to the organization because of its strong sense of community and supportive work environment.

“I think it is the home feeling,” she said. “The staff and management here have always been great to me. It’s very family-oriented, and that’s important to me. Coming back has really felt like a breath of fresh air.”

Aimee Jarrett, vice president of ambulatory services at Ozarks Healthcare, said Bradshaw's familiarity with the organization and community makes her a strong addition to the team.

"She has a genuine passion for caring for patients and building meaningful relationships with the people she serves," Jarrett said. "We’re excited to have her back home.”

Bradshaw is currently accepting patients. To schedule an appointment, call 417-257-5911.
