Posted

The Ozarks Healthcare Foundation and Ozarks Healthcare are inviting community members to attend their annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, which will be held at 5:30 p.m. Dec. 11, inside Ozarks Healthcare’s main entrance at 1100 Kentucky Ave. in West Plains.

The tree will be decorated and illuminated with lights representing the Ozarks Healthcare Foundation’s Lights of Life program. Santa Claus will available to take pictures with children before the event, beginning at 4 p.m.

Lights of Life is described by its organizers as a cherished tradition that allows community members to honor and celebrate the lives of loved ones.

“By purchasing a light on Ozarks Healthcare’s Tree of Life, you can pay tribute to those who have touched your heart in a meaningful way,” said Josh Reeves, vice president of development at Ozarks Healthcare. “Your contribution not only adds a beautiful touch to our tree but also directly supports vital programs and services at our health system.”

According to officials, participation in the Ozarks Healthcare Foundation’s Lights of Life program allows the foundation to continue providing exceptional care and making a positive impact on our community through programs and initiatives, namely, Ozarks Healthcare Endowment Fund, Ozarks Healthcare Cancer Treatment Center Patient Emergency Fund, Ozarks Healthcare At Home: Hospice support funds for patients and families, and the purchase of new health technology and services for Ozarks Healthcare.
