Posted

Officials with the Amelia Network, a local networking group for women in business and leadership positions in West Plains and surrounding communities, and the Ozarks Small Business Incubator say they are “pleased to report on the success of the third annual Business Women’s Expo,” held Saturday.

The event featured 40 women-owned businesses from across the region, and around 150 shoppers came out to show their support and shop locally, said organizers. Shoppers had an array of unique products and services to choose from, including health and wellness goods and services, jewelry, fresh flowers, pottery and items from fashion boutiques. Attendees also had the opportunity to enjoy a variety of delicious food and beverages from Viandel Vineyard and Conjure House Coffee.

OzSBI and The Amelia Network officials express their “sincere appreciation for all of the support received, from the wonderful turnout and everyone who shared information about the Expo and invited their friends, to the strong media support and all of the supporting sponsors.”

“We are grateful for the impact that shopping local and supporting events like the Business Women’s Expo has on our local economy,” they added. “We hope to see an even larger turnout for the fourth annual Women’s Business Expo next fall!”

The Amelia Network hosts meetups and networking activities open to women in business in West Plains and the surrounding communities quarterly.
