Trunk & Tree Paint Party, a benefit for Christos House, was hosted by local artist Tara Shahan on the evening of Oct. 24 in the Magnolia Room at the West Plains Civic Center. Sixteen people participated in the event with Shahan leading them in painting a classic red pickup truck hauling a freshly-cut Christmas tree. "We had a very fun and positive response, and we will look at doing this again soon," said Christos House Interim Executive Director Kelli Neel.
