Today’s market is the place to be for those looking to get their spring gardens growing. Jess Dietrich’s produce trailers will feature a large plant sale with many varieties of herbs. He harvests and sells fresh produce and herbs right on the spot every week, and this is a great opportunity to stock up on starts for your own beds.
Additionally, we have a great variety of garden-ready items including hanging baskets, flowers, handcrafted wood planter boxes and birdhouses.
Mother’s Day Gifts
Mother’s Day is coming up next Sunday, May 10, and our vendors are ready. Many will have wonderful gift baskets tailored for Mom. This week, Moffis BeauKeyFul will offer a free gift bag with every purchase of a self-defense keychain, and Hope Stringer will have Hope Floats fragrance oil at half price for Mother’s Day.
Specialty Products
We continue to offer alpha gal syndrome-friendly products every week, including shampoos, conditioners, soaps and beard oils. For those with dietary restrictions, our vendors also provide gluten-free and dye-free baked products weekly.
Food Court and Market Highlights
If you get hungry while shopping, stop by the food court for authentic Mexican pork and chicken tamales, rajas con queso and aguas frescas from Tamales To Go. Grassy Hill Farms will have authentic Filipino pork adobo, steamed buns and egg rolls. JLP Catering and Tribal Cajun will also be on hand with Italian and Cajun specialties.
Other market favorites available this week include grain-finished and grass-fed beef, local artisan crafts, tallow-based products, beeswax candles, raw local honey, sourdough breads, jams, boba tea and much more.
The market is held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays (weather permitting) at the Endurance Church parking lot, located at 805 Worley Drive in West Plains (next to Hirsch Feed & Farm Supply).
