Russell J. Shipp, 59, of Bunker, died of injuries suffered in a crash at 7:20 p.m. Thursday on KK Highway 10 miles northeast of Bunker in Reynolds County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Msgt. MJ. Chastain, Troop G of the patrol, Willow Springs, reported Shipp was southbound in his 2002 Lincoln Towncar which traveled off the left side of the road and overturned. He wore a seat belt, the report shows.
Reynolds County Coroner Jeffrey McSpadden pronounced Shipp dead at 8:45 p.m. at the scene.
Shipp’s death is the 21st traffic fatality this year in the nine-county Troop G area, compared to 29 in the same time frame in 2023.
