Richards School Board to meet June 27

The Richards School Board of Education will meet at 6 p.m. June 27 in the school boardroom.

The brief agenda, following approval of consent agenda items, includes several items to wrap up the current school year and prepare for the 2024-25 school year.

Following approval of the consent agenda, administrative reports will be given by Principal Mick Price, Superintendent Dr. Melonie Bunn and Executive Administrator Jerry Premer, and a food service report will be presented. Premer will present a $40,000 grant for the board’s approval. Other financial items to be presented by him include supply bids for review, pertaining to bread, milk, pizza, fuel and tires; year-end budget revisions; a capital projects funds transfer; and the 2024-25 Budget.

Board members will set a date for the annual tax rate hearing, and for the next board meeting.

A closed executive session will be held before adjournment to discuss personnel matters.

Meetings are typically held on the fourth Thursday of each month. The public is welcome.
