St. Paul Lutheran Church in West Plains will hold its annual Christmas Craft and Décor Sale from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 2 and 3, and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 4.
“You are invited to enjoy the new and exciting collection of elegant and rustic homemade crafts and holiday décor,” say organizers. “Everything is of exceptional quality, reasonably priced and awaiting a new home.”
The sale has been an annual event for more than 30 years.
In addition to crafts and decorative items, shoppers can purchase food: chili, hot dog and Frito pie dinners include chips, a drink and dessert, and are available for dine-in or carry-out for $6. Baked goods will also be for sale. Credit card payments will be accepted.
Drawings will be held at 3 p.m. Nov. 4 to give away a handmade quilt and a decorated Christmas tree. Tickets to enter the giveaway are $1 apiece or $5 for six.
Free apple cider will be offered to shoppers, who are also invited to register for a free door prize to be given at 3 p.m. Nov. 5.
Each year, the church donates a portion of its sales to a charitable cause. This year, a percentage of sales is being donated to support Martha Vance Samaritan Outreach Center St. Paul Lutheran Church is located at 291 N. Kentucky Ave.
“Stop by and shop with us and enjoy getting your Christmas shopping done early,” invite organizers.
A Thrivent Financial Action Team is participating in this event by providing seed money in the amount of $250 to help purchase food for the meals. Thrivent Action Team members also help during the event, say organizers.
