To the editor:

Ozark Action, Inc., would like to thank all the vendors, sponsors, and volunteers who helped make this year’s Project Homeless Connect event on Jan. 25 possible. This year there were 130 individuals served with their help.

The generous donations received from these individuals made it possible for this year’s event to be held: West Plains Elks Lodge 2418, Jordan’s Mobile Home Sales, Roger Foley Shelter Insurance, Pizza Shack, Spero Hardwoods, Mugs, James Gang Towing, Kaye Huff and Zach Barton Farm Bureau Insurance. And thank you to Ink Monkey for updating our signs.

A big thank-you to all the volunteers who donated their time to escort individuals through the event: Mercy Mtn. View Clinic, Southern Missouri Technical Institute students and instructors, and any individuals we failed to name.

Finally, a special thanks to the University of Missouri Extension Office of Howell County for providing lunch to the vendors and clients who attended the event.

Your support is sincerely appreciated.
