An El Dorado Springs man suffered minor injuries in a crash early today near West Plains, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Tpr. A.K. Falterman with Troop G patrol, Willow Springs, reported the accident happened at 12:15 a.m. on south U.S. 63, 2 miles south of West Plains.

A southbound 2024 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Matthew R. Hackleman, 27, reportedly ran off the right side of the road, struck a stop sign, overturned and struck a tree.

Hackleman was not wearing a seat belt, and was taken by ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains for treatment, the report shows.

Two Vanzant residents were injured Thursday when a car crashed because of a tire blowout, according to Tpr. W.A. Wadlington.

Wadlington reported the accident happened at 5 p.m. Thursday on Highway 95, 3.5 miles south of Drury in Douglas County.

A southbound 2008 Kia Sedona driven by Natasha H. Paul, 42, ran off the road, then struck a fence and a tree, Wadlington said.

Paul and a 13-year-old girl who was a passenger were wearing their seat belts; both suffered moderate injuries and were taken to Ozarks Healthcare for treatment.

Because the teen is younger than 18, identifying information about her is not disclosed by patrol officials.
