Howell County residents now have access to a new and improved Geographic Information System (GIS) mapping platform, spearheaded by County Assessor Daniel Franks.
The upgraded system offers a modern, user-friendly way to access property and mapping information from anywhere. Officials noted the tool serves as a major upgrade for property owners, businesses, surveyors, real estate professionals and others who rely on accurate property data.
The new website is optimized for mobile devices and is georeferenced to show real-time locations.
In a recent announcement, the Howell County Commission praised Franks and his staff for their work in implementing the technology, adding that the investment helps make county government more accessible, efficient and transparent.
