As all government offices and buildings at all levels will be closed Wednesday for the Juneteenth federal holiday, there will be no mail delivery. The Quill will still publish a Wednesday paper, which will be available online, but will not arrive in mailboxes until Thursday.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reminds the public that driver examination stations will also be closed that day, as well as on July 4.
The Missouri State University-West Plains campus will be closed, including classes and offices, and city officials remind citizens that, in addition to city hall, the West Plains Public Library will be closed for the holiday.
Normal operations will resume for all on June 20.
