Posted

Registration is currently open for the inaugural Folds of Honor Golf Tournament, a 3-person, 18-hole scramble benefitting Folds of Honor.  The tournament will be held at the West Plains Country Club on June 24,  with a shotgun start at noon.

Folds of Honor is a nonprofit organization that provides educational scholarships to the spouses and children of military members who have fallen in action or been disabled while serving in the United States Armed Forces.  Since the program was founded by Lt. Col. Dan Rooney in 2007, Folds of Honor has awarded nearly 35,000 educational scholarships totaling more than $160 Million in educational impact.  The West Plains Folds of Honor golf tournament is a scholarship fundraiser to benefit scholarship recipients in southern Missouri and northern Arkansas.

Along with the tournament, guests will have the opportunity to enjoy a Color Guard Ceremony, a luncheon, flight awards, player gifts, an auction, raffle prizes and more. Registration is $450 per team, ($150 per player), and there is an option to add three mulligans and three raffle tickets to a team entry for $50.

Great Rivers Distributing is the Five-Star General Sponsor of the tournament.  Ozark Marketing Company is a Colonel Level Sponsor.  Currently Southern Bank, Dave Thomas Shelter Insurance and West Plains Bank and Trust Company are Captain Level Sponsors.  Additional sponsorship opportunities are available with hole sponsorships starting at $200.
