Officer Jake Miller was dispatched at 10:07 a.m. March 11 to the 400 block of Washington Avenue for found property, which was returned to its owner.

At 10:49 a.m. March 11, Officer Miller was dispatched to the 1100 block of Webster Avenue for a violation of an order of protection. A report was filed and the case is closed.

Officer Jerry Mingus was dispatched at 4:52 p.m. March 11 to the 1100 block of Webster Avenue for a violation of an order of protection. A report was taken.

At 9:01 a.m. March 12, Officer Miller was dispatched to the 1100 block of Webster Avenue for a violation of an order of protection. The case is being referred to county prosecutors.

Detective Jeremy Pounders reported at 12:54 p.m. March 12 that a week prior, Thayer police had asked for help from the West Plains Police Small Unmanned Aircraft System (sUAS; drone) team.

At 4:23 p.m. March 12, Officer Brent Keepes responded to the 800 block of Lanton Road for an investigation into a complaint of false license plates. The plates were seized and a report was completed.

Officer Jacob Brixey conducted a traffic stop at 4:23 p.m. March 12 on Grace Avenue, and found the plate on the vehicle to be counterfeit. A man was arrested and the vehicle was towed. The man was placed on a 24-hour hold at the city jail pending formal charges, and a probable cause statement was forwarded to county prosecutors.

At 6:10 p.m. March 12, Officer Jacob Beadell located a man wanted on an active arrest warrant near the 800 block of Porter Waggoner Boulevard. The man was arrested and taken to the sheriff’s office for extradition.

Officer Beadell responded at 10:27 p.m. March 12 to the 1100 block of Broadway for a disturbance that had been reported. A victim was taken to Ozarks Healthcare by ambulance and the suspect was detained. The case is logged as third-degree assault involving a special victim.

At 9:35 p.m. March 13, Officer Beadell stopped a vehicle on Eight Street because the driver was not using a seat belt. The driver was found to have a suspended license and arrested, ticketed and released.

Officer Daiman Meyer responded at 11:23 p.m. March 13 to the 1500 block of U.S. 160 for a business alarm. Investigation was conducted and no crime was observed.

At 1:24 a.m. March 14, Officer Meyer stopped a vehicle on U.S. 63. A consent search turned up controlled substances and the travel was arrested and taken to the city jail. The case is open and inactive pending lab results.

A man was arrested at 8:43 a.m. March 14 at the police station on two municipal warrants. Cpl. Trent Kinder.

At 9:41 a.m. March 14, the Howell County Sheriff’s Office asked for assistance with digital forensics on a cellular device for an investigation in that agency’s jurisdiction. Detective Joe Neuschwander conducted the process and returned the device and a report to the case agent.

Officers responded at 12:08 p.m. March 14 to the area of U.S. 63 and Fifth Street for found property. Officer Whitley Clark.

At 1:18 p.m. March 14, officers were dispatched to the municipal court to serve an arrest warrant. Officer Chris Barrett arrested a man on a West Plains warrant for failure to appear.

Officers were dispatched at 1:29 p.m. March 29 to the municipal court to serve an arrest warrant. Officer Barrett arrested a woman on a Mtn. View warrant for failure to appear.

At 1:53 p.m. March 14, Officer Beadell was dispatched to the 700 block of Olive Street to conduct a well-being check. He spoke with the parents of the subject of the check, as well as the reporting party, then reported the incident to the Missouri Child Abuse and Neglect Hotline. The case is logged as second-degree child endangerment.

Officers arrested a man on a federal warrant at 2:10 p.m. March 14 at the municipal court. He was taken into custody without incident and taken to the Howell County Jail.

At 3:26 p.m. March 14, Officer Beadell responded to the 2000 block of Burke Avenue for a report of property damage. Damage was photographed and the case was closed due to lack of evidence.

Officer Keepes responded at 4:04 p.m. March 14 to the police station for a person turning in keys found at Wayhaven Park on Deatherage. The keys were placed into evidence for safekeeping.

At 2:32 p.m. March 15, Officer Meyer stopped a vehicle on U.S. 63 for illegal lighting. The driver was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicate, and provided a breath sample showing his blood alcohol content to be over twice the legal limit. The driver was ticketed and released.

Officers responded at 5:54 a.m. March 15 to Tractor Supply for a report of an audible alarm; no signs of foul play were seen. Cpl. Wes Stuart.

At 6:47 a.m. March 15, Officer Barrett was dispatched to the police station to speak on the phone with someone who wanted to report a violation of an order of protection that had occurred the previous day on the 1100 block of Webster Avenue. The case is being referred to county prosecutors.

Officers were dispatched at 10:08 a.m. March 15 to the 900 block of Washington Avenue for a report of a domestic situation. It was learned a man and woman had argued and nothing physical occurred. Cpl. Kinder.

At 12:55 p.m. March 15, officers were dispatched to a business on the 3600 block of North U.S. 63 for property damage. Officer Barrett spoke to an employee who said a vehicle drove away from the gas pump with the nozzle still in the vehicle, and it broke the handle off the gas pump.

Officer Beadell was dispatched at 4:08 p.m. March 15 to the 1500 block of Imperial Drive for a man wanted on a warrant. The man was arrested.

At 4:37 p.m. March 15, officers stopped a vehicle at the intersection of Leyda Street and Aid Avenue. The driver was arrested on a charge of driving while suspended, taken to the police station and later released with a ticket. Officer Keepes.

Officers were dispatched at 5:57 p.m. March 15 to the 1100 block of Webster Avenue for a protection order violation. A probable cause statement was completed and sent to county prosecutors. Officer Nathaniel Siegrist.

At 12:32 a.m. March 16, Officer Meyer stopped a vehicle on Broadway near St. Louis St. The driver was found to be intoxicated and was arrested, booked and released with tickets. The case was sent to the city prosecutor’s office for review.

Officers responded to an alarm call at 12:33 p.m. March 16 on the 1800 block of Porter Wagoner Boulevard. Cpl. Stuart.

At 2:09 p.m. March 16, Cpl. Brandon Stephens stopped a vehicle on the 1400 block of Mitchell Road for a nonworking brake light. The driver was found to have an active Butler County warrant for a traffic violation and was arrested and taken to the Howell County Sheriff’s Office.

Officers were dispatched at 4:36 p.m. March 16 to the 800 block of Walker Street for a trespassing complaint, which was documented. Officer Siegrist.

At 1:50 a.m. March 17, Officer Meyer stopped a vehicle on Broadway near Washington Avenue. The driver was found to have an invalid license and was arrested, booked, fingerprinted and released with tickets. The case was sent to the city prosecutor’s office for review.

Officer Jesse Martin was dispatched at 1:56 a.m. March 17 to the 2300 block of Terra Street for a runaway youth. The youth was found and returned home, and a report was completed.

At 8:56 a.m. March 17, Officer Austin Deshazo responded to a home on the 100 block of Webster Street for a violation of an order of protection. The case will be reviewed by the county prosecutor’s office.

Officer Deshazo stopped a vehicle at 1:03 p.m. March 17 on Padgett Drive and the driver was found to have a revoked license. The vehicle was towed and the driver was arrested and taken to the city jail to be booked, fingerprinted and released with tickets.

At 2:36 p.m. March 17, Officer Robert Shell was dispatched to the police station to take a report of a violation of an order of protection that took place on the 800 block of Worley Drive.

Officers encountered a man, known to them to sell drugs, at 3:08 p.m. March 17 on Missouri Avenue. They asked to search him and found a glass pipe in his possession, which was taken. The man was released pending formal charges. Cpl. Thomas Manning.

At 3:56 p.m. March 17, Officer Mingus was dispatched to the police station to speak to a person with a complaint of harassment. The victim reported social media posts were made demeaning her. The officer took a report.

Officers were dispatched at 4:32 p.m. March 17 to Burgoyne Avenue for a suicidal person. A man was spoken to and found to have warrants for his arrest. He was arrested on the warrants and taken to the city jail. Cpl. Manning.

At 4:56 p.m. March 17, officers served a warrant on the 200 block of Cedar Street, resulting in a woman being taken into custody and later posting bond. Cpl. Manning.

Officers stopped a vehicle at 7:57 p.m. March 17 for a traffic violation on Webster Avenue. After identifying the driver, the officers saw in plain view that the driver was in possession of a controlled substance, and the driver was taken into custody pending formal charges. Cpl. Manning.

At 2:43 a.m. March 18, Officer Martin was dispatched to The Heights on Hubert Redburn Drive for a missing adult report. After investigating, he found the subject of the report was a patient at Baxter Health in Mtn. Home, Ark.

Officers took a report at 8:55 a.m. March 18 in the area of Zizzer Pride Academy pertaining to harassment. A probable cause statement and juvenile referral were sent to the Howell County Juvenile Office seeking charges for first-degree harassment. Officer Clark, school resource officer.

At 9:29 a.m. March 18, Officer Miller was dispatched to the 3400 block of Division Drive for property damage. The case was referred to the Juvenile Office.

Officer Deshazo responded at 11:10 a.m. March 18 to the police station to speak with a person who wanted to report an assault on the 400 block of Walnut Street. A report was taken and forwarded to county prosecutors for review.

At 11:57 a.m. March 18, Officer Deshazo responded to the 200 block of Walker Street for a reported domestic disturbance, in which it was discovered an assault had happened. The suspected assailant had left before the officer arrived, but was later found and placed on a 24-hour hold pending formal charges and the case was forwarded to county prosecutors for review.

Officer Ivie Powell took a report at 12:22 p.m. March 18 for an Ohio driver’s license found in the country club area and turned into police. The license was placed in evidence for safekeeping.

At 2:09 p.m. March 18, the Southwest Missouri Cybercrimes Task Force, Homeland Security Investigations in Springfield, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office and Ava police served a residential search warrant on the 700 block of Posey Street in Ava concerning the sexual exploitation of children. Several items capable of storing digital media were taken as evidence and a person was taken into custody pending formal charges. Detective Neuschwander.

Officers were on patrol at 3:44 p.m. March 18 in the area of First Street and conducted a traffic stop. A man was arrested, taken to the city jail for fingerprinting and booking, and released with a ticket on a charge of not having a required license. Officer Shell.

At 4:28 p.m. March 18, Officer Beadell was dispatched to a disturbance that was reported on the 500 block of Summit Street. He and his supervising officer responded and spoke to the parties involved. When they attempted to arrest one of the parties, he began resisting, and Officer Beadell assisted his supervisor in apprehending the man, who was then taken to the city jail.

Officer Beadell responded at 6:37 p.m. March 18 to the Howell County Sheriff’s Office regarding a complaint of stealing. He spoke with the victim and investigation continues.

At 8:35 p.m. March 18, Officer Beadell responded to the 2000 block of Paula Drive to conduct a well-being check. After speaking to the subject of the check, that person was taken to Ozarks Healthcare for a 96-hour mental evaluation hold.

Officers took a report of found drug paraphernalia at 11:06 p.m. March 18. It was placed into evidence for destruction.

At 10:11 a.m. March 19, a resident of Shuttee Street reported someone had contacted his employer and tried to change the bank where his direct deposit paychecks are sent. Investigation is ongoing. Detective Sgt. Aaron Galiher.

A toolbox was found at 11:18 a.m. March 19 on St. Louis Street near Third Street and placed in evidence for safekeeping. Sgt. Brandon Romans.

At 11:20 a.m. March 19, Officer Deshazo was called to the police station for a woman who wanted to turn in her phone as evidence, however, she abandoned the phone in the lobby. A report was taken for found property and the case is closed.

Officers responded at 12:38 p.m. March 19 to the area of Zizzer Pride Academy for a report of a youth in possession of a nicotine vape. The case was forwarded to the Juvenile Office. SRO Clark.

At 1:55 p.m. March 19, Officer Beadell responded to the police station for found property, which was placed in evidence for safekeeping.

Officers responded at 2:05 p.m. March 19 to the area of The Heights apartments for a report of a domestic assault which had happened earlier. Officer Beadell spoke to the reporting parties and ensured the victim received medical care, while other officers found the suspect, who was detained, interviewed and released.

At 5:27 p.m. March 19, officers were dispatched to the police station lobby for a woman who wanted to turn herself in on a warrant. She was taken into custody and later released on bond. Officer Shell.

Officer Meyer stopped a vehicle at 12:52 a.m. March 20 on Gibson Avenue and the driver was found to be impaired. A passenger was also found to be in possession of items they were not legally able to have due to age restrictions. The driver was arrested, processed and released, and the case is open pending lab results.

At 3:05 a.m. March 20, Officer Martin was dispatched to the 300 block of West Maple Street for a disturbance that was reported. It was learned that a domestic assault had occurred and a person was arrested and placed on a 24-hour hold pending formal charges.

Officer Barrett responded at 7:49 a.m. March 20 to the 900 block of Washington Avenue for a complaint of stealing. The reporting party said her wallet was stolen by a family member, then later called and said the wallet had been found inside her home. The case is closed.

At 8:24 a.m. March 20, Officer Deshazo responded to the 1800 block of West Broadway for an out-of-control person. When he arrived, the person had calmed down was later picked up by his guardian. A report was taken for information only and the case is closed.

Officer Barrett responded at 9:29 a.m. March 20 to the police station to speak with a woman who reported someone opened bank accounts in her name.

At 12:26 p.m. March 20, officers were dispatched to the 2200 block of Terra Drive for a report of a dead man. The man was confirmed to be dead and a report was taken for documentation. Officer Barrett.

Officer Beadell responded at 3:41 p.m. March 20 to the 3400 block of Division Drive for a report of property damage. The reporting party provided the suspect’s identification and a confession from the suspect. Charges are sought through the Juvenile Office.

At 7:57 p.m. March 20, Officer Beadell was en route to a call on Crestwood Drive and encountered a woman wanted on an active arrest warrant. She was arrested and taken to the Howell County Sheriff’s Office to await extradition to the county that issued the warrant.

Officer Brixey stopped a vehicle at 9:11 p.m. March 20 at the intersection of Porter Wagoner Boulevard and First Street. He was joined by Howell County Sheriff’s Cpl. Matt Foster and K9 Officer Sagan, who conducted a free air sniff around the vehicle and signaled to the presence of narcotics. Suspected controlled substances were found in the vehicle and the driver was arrested and taken to the city jail. A probable cause statement was sent to county prosecutors.

At 10:42 p.m. March 20, Officer Brixey responded to a home on the 1200 block of North Howell Avenue for a possible sexual assault in progress involving a firearm. A man was arrested, but on further investigation, it was determined the reporting party had made a false report. The investigation is ongoing.

Officer Meyer stopped a vehicle at 1:16 a.m. March 31 on K Highway. The driver was found to be under the influence of drugs, and placed under arrest. The case is open and inactive pending lab results.

At 3:53 a.m. March 31, officers were dispatched to an alarm call at Taco Bell in Southern Hills Shopping Center. There were no signs of forced entry or tampering. Officer Martin.

Officers responded at 7:39 a.m. March 21 to a home on Walker Street for a reported domestic disturbance. A man and woman who had previously been in a romantic relationship had argued and some property was damaged. There are no charges as of the time the report was made, and the woman voluntarily left. Sgt. Romans.

The Southwest Missouri Cyber Crimes Task Force received a tip from at 8:13 a.m. March 21 from the National Center of Missing and Exploited Children that Google had observed a video showing child sexual abuse material on a subscriber’s YouTube account. The investigation is ongoing.

At 8:39 a.m. March 21, Officer Deshazo responded to the police station for a report of threats. It was learned that children had possibly been placed in danger. A report was taken and the case is considered closed at this time.

Officers responded at 11:57 a.m. March 21 to the 1200 block of North Howell Avenue for a traffic crash involving a building. The driver was found to be in an altered mental state, and taken to Ozarks Healthcare for examination and a 96-hour mental health evaluation hold. Officer Deshazo.

At 12:40 p.m. March 21, Officer Barrett responded to the area of The Heights apartments on Hubert Redburn Drive to speak to a woman who reported that, on July 14, she was assaulted by her boyfriend. The case was forwarded to county prosecutors for review.

Officers were dispatched at 3:36 p.m. March 21 to the 100 block of East Olden Street for a verbal domestic disturbance. An incident report was completed for documentation. Officer Siegrist.

At 8:16 p.m. March 21, Officer Brixey was dispatched to the pavilion in People’s Park on the 1100 block of Broadway for an assault. A report was taken and no charges are being sought.

Officers responded at 10:30 p.m. March 21 to the 1300 block of Preacher Roe Boulevard to investigate a report of a missing woman. She was not found, and was entered into the law enforcement database as missing. The case is under investigation. Officer Brixey.

At 1:58 p.m. March 22, officers were dispatched to the area of West Plains High School for a complaint of harassment, in which one youth was threatened by another. The case is under investigation. SRO Conner Burnes.

Officers were dispatched at 5:14 p.m. March 22 to the police station to speak to someone about a custody order violation. A probable cause statement was sent to county prosecutors. Officer Siegrist.

Officer Mingus responded at 6:09 p.m. March 22 to a call regarding a child protection order violation that occurred on the 700 block of Eads Street. He took a report.

At 12:26 a.m. March 23, Officer Meyer stopped a vehicle on Olden Street. The driver was found to be intoxicated and was arrested, processed and released. The case was sent to county prosecutors for review.

Officer Meyer saw a vehicle at 2:39 a.m. March 23 in a parking lot near the 1500 block of Kentucky Avenue. The driver was found to be intoxicated and was arrested and taken to the city jail, where they were placed on a 24-hour hold pending formal charges. The case was sent to county prosecutors for review.

At 4:27 p.m. March 23, officers saw a person walking in the area of First Street who was known to be wanted on an active warrant. The person was arrested and taken to the county jail. Officer Siegrist.

Officers were dispatched at 5:09 p.m. March 23 to a business in the 1300 block of Southern Hills for a call of stealing. Two women were suspected, found and arrested, taken to the jail for processing, then released with tickets. Officer Shell.

At 8:44 p.m. March 23, officers were dispatched to the 500 block of East Maple Street for a stealing complaint. A report was taken for documentation.

Officer Meyer stopped a vehicle at 12:58 a.m. March 24 on the 100 block of Leyda Street. The driver was found to be intoxicated and was arrested. The case was forwarded to city prosecutors for review.

At 1:01 a.m. March 24, officers responded to the 800 block of Porter Wagoner Boulevard for an intentional overdose. The patient was taken to Ozarks Healthcare for treatment, then placed a 96-hour mental health evaluation hold. Cpl. Stuart.

Officer Beadell was on patrol at 4:06 p.m. March 24 near the Holiday Lane and stopped a vehicle. It was learned the passenger in the vehicle was wanted on an active warrant, and the person was arrested and taken to the city jail.

At 7:04 p.m. March 24, Officer Beadell was patrolling Broadway and saw a vehicle commit a traffic violation, prompting him to stop the vehicle. The driver’s license was found to be revoked. The driver was arrested and taken to the city jail to be placed on a 24-hour hold pending formal charges.

Officer Brixey stopped a vehicle at 9:32 p.m. March 24 at the intersection of U.S. 63 and Gibson Avenue. The driver, who reportedly had two small children in the vehicle, unsecured, was found to be intoxicated. The vehicle was towed and the driver was arrested, taken to the city jail and released with a ticket.

At 11:03 a.m. March 25, Officer Deshazo responded to the 1100 block of Lincoln Avenue for a report of a violation of an order of protection. While it was learned a violation had not happened, a report was taken for documentation.

Officers were dispatched at 2:33 p.m. March 25 for a youth with nicotine products in the area of West Plains High School. The case was sent to the Juvenile Office. SRO Burnes.

At 10:32 p.m. March 25, Officer Beadell assisted another officer with a traffic crash on U.S. 63. After speaking with one of the drivers involved, he determined the driver to be intoxicated. After field sobriety tests were conducted, the driver was arrested and taken to the city jail, fingerprinted, booked and released with tickets.

The Southwest Missouri Cyber Crimes Task Force received a tip at 8:47 a.m. March 26 from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that Synchronoss Technologies, a cloud storage provider, discovered files on its servers showing child sexual abuse material. The suspect is believed to live in Wright County. Detective Neuschwander.

At 9:39 a.m. March 26, Officer Miller was dispatched to the 1500 block of Imperial Center to serve a warrant. A man was arrested and taken to the county jail.

Officer Brixey was dispatched at 2:01 p.m. March 26 to Walmart for a reported hit-and-run in the parking lot there. A suspect was found and a report was completed. The suspect was ticketed and released.

At 5:30 p.m. March 26, officers were dispatched to Myrtle Street for a physical domestic altercation between a man and woman in a relationship. The man was arrested and placed on a 24-hour hold pending charges. Officer Keepes.

Officers were dispatched at 5:41 p.m. March 26 to a traffic crash at the intersection of U.S. 63 and Lanton Road. A woman was arrested and taken to the city jail for processing, then released with a ticket on a charge of not having a required license.

At 8:15 p.m. March 16, officers executed a narcotics search warrant at a room at Baymont Inn on Imperial Drive, revealing suspected meth, fentanyl and multiple different controlled substances, along with related paraphernalia. A man was arrested on a felony warrant out of Oregon County, and is also pending charges of first-degree drug trafficking, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance. Two women were arrested, each with pending charges of first-degree drug trafficking, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance. A third woman was arrested on pending charges of tampering with evidence in addition to the aforementioned charges. Cpl. Manning.

Officer Powell spoke to a theft victim at 10:17 a.m. March 27, who said an employee of his went to a job site his company was working at, gathered the victim’s tools and left. A probable cause statement was sent to the city prosector’s office.

At 1:49 p.m. March 27, officers were dispatched to the area of West Plains High School for a youth with nicotine products. The case was sent to the Juvenile Office. SRO Burnes.

Cpl. Brent McKemie arrested a man at 2:19 p.m. March 27 on the 300 block of Aid Avenue on suspicion of unlawfully entering a person’s home, touching the victim without consent and eating the victim’s food without permission. Charges are sought.

At 4:21 p.m. March 27, Officer Keepes responded to Mulligan’s Package Store on Porter Wagoner for a shoplifting complaint. The case is under investigation and charges will be sought.

Officer Beadell investigated a report of an order of a violation of protection at 7:03 p.m. March 27. He interview both parties and found the reporting party to be partially at fault; the case will be closed due to a lack of evidence.

At 8:53 p.m. March 27, officers responded to the 400 block of Preacher Roe Boulevard for a disturbance. A person physically resisted officers and was arrested. A report was taken and the suspect was taken to the city jail to be placed on a 24-hour hold pending formal charges. A probable cause statement was sent to the city prosecutor. Officer Brixey.

Officer Meyer stopped a vehicle at 2:12 a.m. March 28 on Gibson Avenue and the driver was found not to have a valid license. The driver was arrested and taken to the city jail, booked and released with tickets.

At 8:16 a.m. March 28, a 55-year-old woman was encountered by Sgt. Romans on East Olden Street. She was taken by South Howell County Ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare for a 96-hour mental health evaluation hold.

Officer Barrett was dispatched at 9:24 a.m. March 28 to the 1500 block of County Road 6070 to do a well-being check. No one answered, when he knocked, and the property owner was contacted to unlock the door and give the officer access. The subject of the check was not inside.

At 11:05 a.m. March 28, officers were dispatched to the area of West Plains High School for two youths with nicotine products. The case was sent to the Juvenile Office. SRO Burnes.

Officers were dispatched at 3:16 p.m. March 28 to a business on the 1300 block of Southern Hills for a stealing complaint. The incident was documented and the case is inactive pending further information. Officer Siegrist.

At 3:18 p.m. March 28, officers were dispatched to the area of West Plains High School for two youths with nicotine products. The case was sent to the Juvenile Office. SRO Burnes.

Officers served a municipal arrest warrant at 4:10 p.m. March 28 on the 800 block of Lanton Road, resulting in a woman being arrested and later bonding out. Officer Keepes.

At 5:38 p.m. March 28, officers responded to the 1000 block of Sixth Street for a stealing complaint. A woman was ticketed. Officer Keepes.

At 1:35 a.m. March 29, Officer Meyer responded to the 200 block of Walker Street for a reported disturbance. It was learned someone had damaged another person’s property. The victim did not want to pursue legal action, so the case is closed.

Officer Powell spoke with a theft victim at 9:01 a.m. March 29, who said someone had stolen his Swarovski binoculars from his unlocked vehicle while it was parked outside his business on Preacher Roe Boulevard.

At 9:11 a.m. March 29, Officer Powell responded to the 1400 block of Preacher Roe Boulevard for property damage. The victim reported someone unknown started a fire under the front awning of the building, damaging the wall. The case remains open.

Cpl. Stephens was dispatched at 12:11 p.m. March 29 to the Probation and Parole Office on the 1500 block of Imperial Drive to serve an arrest warrant. A man was arrested and taken to the Howell County Jail.

At 12:21 p.m. March 29, Officer Powell spoke to a man standing at the corner of Preacher Roe Boulevard and Worley Driver regarding the man screaming at drivers passing by. The man was found to have an active Cass County arrest warrant for failure to appear on a charge of driving while revoked or suspended with a $100 cash-only bond, and was arrested and taken to the Howell County Jail.

A person wanted on a West Plains warrant turned themselves in at 1:07 p.m. March 29 at the police station. The warrant was for failure to appear on a charge of driving a vehicle without maintaining financial responsibility. The person was taken into custody and later released on bond. Officer Burnes.

At 2:21 p.m. March 29, Officer Mingus was dispatched to the area of Ozarks Healthcare for a report of careless and imprudent driving. When he arrived, he found the driver was trying to get his wife to the hospital. A death occurred and an investigation was conducted.

At 5:07 p.m. March 29, Officer Mingus was dispatched to the police station to take a report of a custody order violation. The report was taken and charges filed.

Officers responded at 6:27 p.m. March 29 to the 1100 block of Webster Avenue for a report of a violation of an order of protection. A probable cause statement was sent to county prosecutors and the case is close. Officer Clark.

At 7:32 p.m. March 29, officers were dispatched to the 300 block of East Maple St. for a report of an assault. It was determined an assault occurred between two women. One woman was taken into custody and charges are sought. Officer Mingus.

Officer Meyer stopped a vehicle at 1:01 a.m. March 30 on CC Highway. The driver was found to be intoxicated and was arrested, taken to the city jail, processed and released. The case was sent to county prosecutors for review.

At 1:19 a.m. March 30, officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Worcester Street for a fight in progress. The suspects were gone when officers arrived, but during investigation, an assault and stolen phone were reported. The case remains under investigation. An hour later, another theft report was logged as having occurred in the area. Cpl. Stuart.

Cpl. Stephens responded at 12:28 p.m. March 30 to the 600 block of Missouri Avenue to serve a municipal arrest warrant. A man was taken into custody and taken to the city jail, where he was released after posting bond.

At 4:07 p.m. March 30, officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Worcester Street for a verbal domestic disturbance. A report was completed for documentation. Officer Siegrist.

Officers were dispatched at 5:47 p.m. March 30 to The Heights apartments on Hubert Redburn Drive for a call regarding a domestic assault. A person was arrested and placed on a 24-hour hold pending formal charges. Officer Siegrist.

At 7:07 p.m. March 30, Officer Mingus was dispatched to the 1400 block of Seventh Street fro an incident involving youths and took an informational report.

Officer Mingus responded at 7:42 p.m. to a private property traffic crash on the 1700 block of Terra Drive. A report was made as a suspect vehicle left the scene.

At 9:31 a.m. March 31, Officer Deshazo saw a man he knew to have active municipal warrants standing in a parking lot off of Bill Virdon Boulevard near Lambert Lane. The man was arrested and taken to the city jail.

Officer Beadell stopped a vehicle at 4:11 p.m. March 31 near Independence Drive and found the driver to have a revoked license. The driver was arrested, fingerprinted, ticketed and released.

At 4:40 p.m. March 31, officers were dispatched to the 1200 block of Aldridge street for a one-vehicle crash. A woman was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated and taken to the city jail and placed on a 24-hour hold pending formal charges.

Officer Deshazo responded at 7:01 a.m. April 1 to the 1100 block of Webster Street for a report of a child protection order violation. The case will be forwarded to county prosecutors for review.

At 11:19 a.m. April 1, Officer Powell assisted the Howell County Children’s Division with an investigation of alleged sexual abuse, verbal abuse and threats. It was learned all incidents reported had occurred in Arkansas. An agency assist report was completed.

Officer Miller was dispatched at 1:09 p.m. April 1 to Current Inc. for a complaint of stealing. The case was turned over to detectives.

At 1:49 p.m. April 1, Officer Mingus was dispatched to the 700 block of Sesson Street for a complaint of stealing. A report was taken for misdemeanor stealing.

At 3:25 p.m. April 1, Officer Brixey stopped a vehicle at the intersection of Porter Wagoner Boulevard and Cass Avenue. The driver was arrested on an active municipal warrant, and a passenger was also arrested. The drover was booked on his active warrant and issued multiple tickets, and the passenger was ticketed and released. The case was logged as interference with a police officer.

Officer Brixey stopped a vehicle at 7:34 p.m. April 1 at the intersection of Porter Wagoner Boulevard and Burgoyne Street. The driver was arrested, taken to the city jail, ticketed on a charge of having an expired license and released.

At 9:05 p.m. April 1, Officer Mingus took a report of harassment pertaining to a girl receiving threatening messages from another girl.

Officers were dispatched at 9:20 p.m. April 1 to the 500 block of Pennsylvania Avenue for a report of man causing a disturbance. The man was identified and found a few blocks away, where he was arrested and taken to the city jail to be placed on a 24-hour hold. A probable cause statement for a charge of resisting arrest will be sent to county prosecutors. Officer Brixey.

At 2:02 a.m. April 2, Officer Martin was dispatched to the 2500 block of Kody Drive for a domestic assault in progress. A report was completed, but no charges are sought due to an uncooperative victim.

Officer Martin was dispatched at 6:18 a.m. April 2 to the 1700 block of Chuck Lane for a reported auto theft. A report was taken and an investigation is ongoing.

At 10:15 a.m. April 2, Officer Deshazo responded to the 1600 block of U.S. 63 for property that had been lost or stolen from a vehicle. A report was taken and the case is open until the property is located.

Officers were dispatched t 10:40 a.m. April 2 to the area of West Plains High School for to assist the Missouri Department of Social Services with an investigation into a child abuse or neglect allegation. It had been reported that a youth victim had a lack of supervision, leading to a sex crime. The case remains under investigation. SRO Burnes.

At 10:46 a.m. April 2, Officer Powell responded to the 1800 block of K Highway for an unresponsive man who was receiving CPR. The man was pronounced dead and his next of kin notified. A report was completed for documentation.

Officer Deshazo responded at 11:14 a.m. April 2 to the 400 block of Aid Avenue for a stealing complaint. A report was taken and the case is closed due to lack of evidence and no identified suspect.

At 11:42 a.m.April 2, Officer Meyer stopped a vehicle on U.S. 63. The driver was found not to have a valid license and ticketed. The case was sent to city prosecutors for review.

Officers served an arrest warrant at 4:54 p.m. April 2 at the Conoco gas station on First Street, resulting in a woman being taken into custody. Cpl. Manning.

At 5:28 p.m. April 2, Cpl. Manning responded to Southview Assisted Living on Creamery Road for call about a domestic disturbance. Statements were taken from two men, and it was learned on of them was wanted on an Oregon County arrest warrant; he was taken into custody.

Officers on patrol at 5:46 p.m. April 2 in the area of Trish Knight Street saw a man who was wanted on active warrants. He was arrested on a Mtn. View warrant. Officer Keepes.

At 6:35 p.m. April 2, officers served an arrest warrant at Aldi, resulting in a woman being taken into custody. Cpl. Manning.

Officers stopped a vehicle at 8:42 p.m. April 2 on Renfrow Street, and two people in the vehicle were found to be in possession of a drug and paraphernalia. Both were arrested and placed on a 24-hour hold pending formal charges. Cpl. Manning.

Officer Brixey was dispatched at 8:48 p.m. April 2 to the 2000 block of K Highway for an order of protection violation. He took a report and a probable cause statement was sent to county prosecutors.

At 9:45 p.m. April 2, Officer Beadell saw a vehicle make a traffic violation and conducted a traffic stop on Hubert Redburn Drive. Suspecting the driver was under the influence of drugs, he conducted field sobriety tests and then arrested the driver, whose blood was drawn for testing. The driver was taken to the city jail, fingerprinted and released, and the case is inactive pending the blood testing results.

Sgt. Josh Wichowski responded at 5:34 a.m. April 3 to a home on the 800 block of South Curry Street for a domestic disturbance. It was verbal.

At 8:55 a.m. April 3, Officer Deshazo responded to the 800 block of Lanton Road for found property, which was recovered. A report was taken. The case is closed and the property will be destroyed.

Officer Barrett responded at 10:46 a.m. April 3 to the area of Hubert Redburn Drive for a report of a driver leaving the scene of an accident that occurred the previous day on the 900 block of Porter Wagoner Boulevard. A woman reported an unknown vehicle hit her vehicle while she was parked at a business, then left.

At 4:30 p.m. April 3, Officer Beadell responded to the police station to speak with someone regarding a domestic call. He spoke to the victim as other officers spoke to the suspect. Due to the totality of the circumstances, the suspect was arrested and the victim was checked by emergency medical personnel before being taken back home. The case is logged as third-degree domestic assault.

Officers responded to a domestic disturbance in progress at 4:49 p.m. April 3 on the 100 block of Dana Drive. They were not able to locate anyone in the area, and were then advised the disturbance “had gone mobile.” The vehicle in question was located and a man was arrested. The case is logged as first-degree kidnapping. Cpl. Manning.

At 12:31 p.m. April 4, Officer Powell responded to the 1300 block of Washington Avenue regarding a man wanted on active Howell and Wright county warrants. The man was arrested and taken to the Howell County Jail.

Officers were dispatched at 6:51 p.m. April 4 to the 600 block of Shuttee Street for a runaway youth, who was located. A report was completed for documentation. Officer Siegrist.

At 7:10 p.m. April 4, Officer Brixey responded to Ramseur Road and London Lane and conducted a traffic stop, during which a driver was found to be impaired. The driver was arrested and released with a ticket for a charge of driving while intoxicated.

Officer Brixey was dispatched at 8:46 p.m. April 4 to People’s Park on the 1100 block of Broadway, where it was learned a man had violated two orders of protection. While being arrested on the charges, the man resisted arrest. He was arrested, taken to the city jail and placed on a 24-hour hold pending formal charges. A probable cause statement was sent to county prosecutors.

At 10:25 p.m. April 4, Officer Beadell responded to the 200 block of Maple Street for a reported violation of an order of protection. The victim and a witness were interviewed, and the suspect had already left. The case will be forwarded to prosecutors.

Officer Meyer responded at 1:48 a.m. Friday to the 1900 block of Debra Drive for a medical emergency. The subject of the call was beyond medical help and died of natural causes. No foul play is suspected.

At 2:25 a.m. Friday, officers were dispatched to the 200 block of West Maple Street for a domestic disturbance. Officers determined an order of protection had been violated. A probable cause statement was sent to county prosecutors seeking charges of two counts of violating an order of protection. Cpl. Stuart.

Cpl. Stephens responded at 12:56 p.m. Friday to the Probation and Parole Office to arrest a man on an active warrant out of Wright County. The man was arrested and taken to the Howell County Jail.

At 3:03 p.m. Friday, Officer Beadell was dispatched to Ozarks Healthcare for a report of an assault. He spoke to the victim and documented her injuries. He was unable to speak to the suspect. The case will be forwarded to prosecutors.

Officer Keepes responded at 6:19 p.m. Friday to the police station for a reported custody agreement violation. Investigation determined there was no violation.

At 6:32 p.m. Friday, officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of Webster Avenue for a child protection order violation. A probable cause statement was completed and sent to county prosecutors. Officer Siegrist.

Officer Mingus was dispatched at 7:43 p.m. Friday to the 1700 block of Porter Wagoner Boulevard for a complaint of stealing. Clothing had been taken from a facility.

At 5:14 p.m. Saturday, officers were flagged down by a woman on the 200 block of Trish Knight Street regarding. Possible domestic disturbance. After an investigation, a woman was arrested and later released with a ticket. Cpl. Manning.

Officers were dispatched at 9:55 p.m. Saturday to Court Square in the area of Dev’s Steakhouse for a traffic crash in which a driver had left the scene. The crash was documented and a report was completed. Officer Siegrist.

At 2:34 a.m. Sunday, Officer Meyer stopped a vehicle on Independence Drive, finding the driver not to have a valid license. The driver was arrested, and an on-duty K-9 conducted a free air sniff of the vehicle, alerting to the presence of contraband and giving probable cause to search the vehicle, which turned up that contraband. The driver was taken to the city jail, processed and released with tickets.

Officers were dispatched at 12:36 p.m. Sunday to McDonald’s on Porter Wagoner Boulevard for a report of an intoxicated man yelling. After numerous calls about the man, he was later found on the 2400 block of McFarland Drive, arrested and placed on a 12-hour protective hold. Officer Barrett.

At 1:23 p.m. Sunday, officers responded to a call about shoplifting on the 700 block of Kentucky Avenue. A suspect was identified and arrested. Cpl. Manning.

Officers were dispatched at 3:12 p.m. Sunday to the 800 block of West Main Street for a trespassing complaint. It was learned two people had overdosed on drugs and they received medical attention. Drugs and paraphernalia were seized. Officer Siegrist.

At 3:46 p.m. Sunday, officers on patrol near the 400 block of Porter Wagoner Boulevard conducted a traffic stop, resulting in the arrest of a man on a charge of not having a required license. He was taken to the city jail for fingerprinting and booking. Officer Shell.

Cpl. McKemie arrested a man at 7:37 p.m. Sunday on the 2800 block of Porter Wagoner Boulevard on an active warrant. As he was being arrested, it was found the man was is possession of suspected controlled substances. He was taken to the jail and charges are pending lab results.

At 8:33 p.m. Sunday, officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of Webster Avenue for a protection order violation. A probable cause statement was completed and sent to county prosecutors. Officer Siegrist.

Officers were conducting routine business checks at 9:30 p.m. Sunday when a man known to sell drugs was located inside a business on the 500 block of Porter Wagoner Boulevard. The man reportedly threw his backpack in an attempt to hide it, then admitted to having contraband on him. He was arrested and later released pending formal charges. Cpl. Manning.

Keith Airen McKinney, 20, was arrested April 1 on a warrant for failure to appear and released the same day on $1,000 bond. Howell County Deputy Jacob Hamby.

Hunter Jacob Hulsey, 18, was arrested April 1 on a traffic violation charge of failure to yield and released the same day on $200 bond. Cpl. Manning.

Katherine La Tee Gunter, 44, was arrested April 2 on a warrant for failure to appear and released Friday without bond.

Theresa Jean Mesa, 55, was arrested April 2 on a warrant for failure to appear and released Friday without bond. Cpl. Manning.

Miera Paris Thomas, 30, was arrested April 2 on charges of possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of amphetamine or meth paraphernalia. She was released the following day without bond. Cpl. Manning.

Kristina Danielle Killion, 28, was arrested April 2 on a warrant for failure to appear and released April 4 without bond.

Tarjinder Singh, 60, was arrested April 3 on a charge of third-degree domestic assault and released the following day without bond. Officer Keepes.

Trevor Asher Harris, 25, was arrested April 3 on a charge of stealing, value over $750, and released the following day without bond. Cpl. Manning.
