West Plains Pride, a local nonprofit organization benefiting the area LGBTQIA+ community, will host its third annual Out in the Ozarks event from noon to 8 p.m. June 27.
The free, family-friendly gathering will take place on the east lawn of the West Plains Civic Center, 110 St. Louis St.
This year's event features a "Summer Camp" theme and will include activities for all ages, such as live music, a magic show, Field Day games, a talent show and a family-friendly drag show.
While there is no charge to attend, donations are welcome. Attendees will also have the opportunity to shop with about 20 vendors, including several food trucks.
Organizers note that security personnel and emergency medical personnel have been secured for the safety of attendees. All LGBTQIA+ individuals and allies are welcome.
