The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs clinic in West Plains will host a Veterans Resource Fair on Thursday to connect veterans and their families with available health care programs and services.
The free event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the clinic, 1418 Doctors Drive. The fair is being held as part of the national Freedom 250 campaign.
All veterans, their families and caregivers are invited to attend. Organizers said the event is designed to ensure veterans are aware of the many VA health programs they may be eligible for, while providing an opportunity to ask questions directly to staff.
Attendees will be able to speak with representatives and gather information about various VA services. Featured programs include the Caregiver Support Program, the Veterans Homeless Program, Suicide Prevention, Voluntary Services, Enrollment and Eligibility, Care in the Community, Women’s Health, Telehealth and Whole Health.
