The Willow Springs Arts Council will sponsor a Pumpkin Decorating Contest at the Bear City Fall Festival Saturda.
Contestants are invited to bring a carved or decorated pumpkin to the arts council booth before 11:30 a.m. for judging to be held at noon. Winners will receive a $25 gift certificate to either Ozarks Sweetest Bake Shop, Pizza Americana or Southern Kels.
There will be three age categories for contestants: 5 to 10 years, 11 to 16 years and 16 and older. Entrants can obtain forms at the Ferguson Building before Bear Fest or bring them with their pumpkin on the day of the festival. There will also be forms available at the booth.
Entries must be submitted by 11:30 a.m. and judging starts at noon, organizers remind.
