Willow Springs Chamber announces awards banquet date and theme

The Willow Springs Chamber of Commerce announces its annual Awards Banquet, themed “Boots and Bling,” will be held Feb. 3 at Pine Meadows Venue, 1449 Highway 76 in Willow Springs.

Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and dinner will be served at 6, catered by Leslie’s Catering. Entertainment will be provided by Brady Walton.

Giveaway drawings will be held and door prizes given. Items donated for drawings to date include a TCL 58-inch 4K smart TV donated by Mainstreet Wellness Center, a Solo stove donated by Coastal-FMC, a one-month flower subscription donated by Blue Buck Flower Farm, and $100 gift certificates to C&R Gun and Ozarks Sweetest Bakery donated by Simmons Bank and the bakery, respectively. Door prizes are sponsored by Blue Buck Flower Farm, Missouri Home Realty, Leslie’s Catering and Mid-Ozark Insurance Agency.

Donations for giveaway items are still being accepted. Tickets to enter the drawings will be on sale soon, say chamber officials, and winners need not be present to claim their prizes.

The chamber has also announced the dates for events planned through 2024: The Farmers Market will return in April; the annual Derby Party is set for May 4; the “I Ran from the Cops 5K” and S.W.A.T. Challenge will be held July 4 ahead of the annual parade; the Chamber Social is set for Aug. 17; Bear City Fall Festival will be held Oct. 5; Trunk or Treat, Oct. 31; and Pancakes with Santa, Downtown Holli-Day events and the annual lighted Christmas Parade will be Dec. 7.

This year’s Willow Springs Chamber of Commerce Board members and officers are President Tammy Schulz, Ozark Marketing; Vice President Mary Aye, Simmons Bank; Treasurer Robert Hollis, Shelter Insurance; John Bailey of Bailey Chevrolet, Dr. Ann Hines of Mainstreet Wellness Center and Melody Lien of Blue Buck Flower Farm; and ex-officio member Kim Fredrick of West Plains Bank & Trust.
