TICKETS

Nancy Melissa Cotton, Douglas, Ga., was ticketed at 5:11 p.m. April 11 on a charge of speeding by 20-25 mph over. Officer Ryan McGinnis.

Steven J. Hoffman, Cape Girardeau, was ticketed at 6:43 p.m. April 11 on a charge of speeding by 20-25 mph over. Officer McGinnis.

Kylan Vinson, Omaha, Neb., was ticketed at 10:48 p.m. on charges of driving while revoked or suspended and speeding by 26-30 mph over. Officer McGinnis.

Ahmad Soufan, West Plains, was ticketed at 10:23 a.m. April 12 on a charge of speeding by 11-15 mph over. Officer Jim Hedlesten.

Shane Workman, Willow Springs, was ticketed at 1:11 p.m. April 12 on a charge of driving a vehicle without maintaining financial responsibility. Officer Joby Hoopes.

Angela Kay Hamilton, Edgar Springs, was ticketed at 10:53 a.m. April 13 on a charge of speeding by 11-15 mph over. Officer Hedlesten.

Daryl A. Tate, Macon, Ga., was ticketed at 12:31 p.m. April 13 on a charge of speeding by 11-15 mph over. Officer Hedlesten.

Brandon Howard Kintner, West Plains, was ticketed at 12:55 p.m. April 13 on a charge of speeding by 11-15 mph over. Officer Hedlesten.

Katrine Marie Thomas, Evening Shade, Ark., was ticketed at 2:54 p.m. April 13 on a charge of speeding by 11-15 mph over. Officer Hedlesten.

L. A. (full name redacted), Willow Springs, was ticketed at 9:42 p.m. April 15 on charges of driving on a highway without a valid license and driving a vehicle without maintaining financial responsibility. Officer McGinnis.

Hailey Jean Wake, Willow Springs, was ticketed at 11:36 a.m. April 16 on a charge of having an animal at large. Animal Control Officer Mark Templemere.

INCIDENT REPORTS

At 1:32 p.m. April 11, ACO Templemere responded to a call regarding two stray, nonagressive dogs running around the school bus barn area, but was unable to find the dogs.

A debit card was turned into the police department at 12:18 p.m. April 13. Officer Hoopes placed it into found property.

At 8:35 p.m. April 15, Officer McGinnis responded to a report of a traffic crash at Booster Field. A person was ticketed for driving without a license and not having insurance.

Officer McGinnis was dispatched at 10:02 p.m. April 15 to East Main Street for a domestic disturbance. The parties were separated for the night.

At 10:27 a.m. April 16, Officers David Hocking and Joe Barnhouse responded to a home on Cedar Lane for a verbal domestic disturbance in progress. Once there, the officers realized a man was having psychiatric issues, and he was taken by officers to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains for a 96-hour mental evaluation hold.

A woman filed a statement at 11:30 a.m. April 16 regarding dogs constantly barking at her when she was in her backyard or walking in the alley. ACO Templemere advised her that, based on her complaint, the issue would be a noise ordinance complaint.

CALLS FOR SERVICE

On April 12, Officer Wade Bloomer was dispatched to Highway 76 to conduct a well-being check, but was unable to find the subject.

Officer Bloomer responded on April 12 to DD Highway to assist Howell County deputies with a burglary in progress.

On April 13, Officer Hoopes conducted a well-being check on Cedar Lane and the person being checked on was fine.

Officer Hocking responded on April 14 to East Main Street to speak with some youths.

On April 14, while checking buildings on Bolerjack Road, Officer McGinnis found an open door. The building was checked and found to be secure.

Officers Barnhouse and Hocking escorted Willow Springs school students out of town for a competition on April 16.

On April 16, ACO Templemere picked up a gray pit bull on East Main Street.

Officer Barnhouse responded to a medical call April 16 on Highway 76.

On Aril 17, Officer Hocking and Sgt. David Struble responded to East Main Street for a suspicious person. Two people were arguing and the officers separated them and advised them to go on their ways.

A business on East Main Street requested police assistance on April 17. Officer Hocking responded.

On April 17, Officer Hocking responded to West Fourth Street to serve an arrest warrant.

Officer McGinnis responded on April 17 to Railroad Drive to serve a municipal arrest warrant.

On April 17, Officer McGinnis responded to a home on East Fourth Street to make contact with an intoxicated youth.

Officer McGinnis responded on April 17 to North Grand Street for a call regarding a youth, who he took to Ozarks Healthcare.
