The Willow Springs Chamber of Commerce will host a new Fall City-Wide Yard Sale on Oct. 9 and 10.
To encourage community participation, the city of Willow Springs will waive all yard sale permit fee for the entire weekend.
The chamber is also creating a citywide map to help shoppers easily locate participating sales throughout the community. Residents who wish to have their yard sales included on the map should contact the chamber to provide their address, along with the specific dates and times their sale will be open.
Organizers encourage residents to use the event as an opportunity to clean out closets, garages and storage spaces to turn unwanted items into extra cash. Shoppers are invited to spend the weekend exploring the town for bargains and hidden treasures.
To be added to the official map, or for more information, contact the Willow Springs Chamber of Commerce at 417-469-5519 or email willowspringschamber@gmail.com.
