During the May 23 meeting of the Willow Springs City Council, Ward II Alderman Tyler Morris submitted his resignation to be approved by the board, and immediately following Mayor Brooke Fair recommended the appointment of Jennifer Owens to fill Morris’ seat for the remainder of the term.
