Zizzer alumni, friends and community members are invited to reconnect and celebrate West Plains Schools during Zizzer Community Homecoming, planned for Sept. 26 at the West Plains Civic Center, 110 St. Louis St. in West Plains.
Hosted by the West Plains Education Foundation, the event is designed to bring generations of Zizzers together for an evening of food, music, memories and community while supporting current and future students.
Tickets are $50 per person, with proceeds going to West Plains classrooms through the foundation’s Innovative Classroom Grants. The grants are awarded twice each year and provide teachers with funding for creative classroom ideas, resources and learning opportunities.
“Community Homecoming is about honoring the connections and traditions that make being a Zizzer special,” said Dr. Tiffany Young. “We want our alumni and community members to have a place to reconnect with one another while also investing in the students who will carry those traditions forward.”
Those planning to attend are encouraged to purchase tickets by Saturday. Alumni also are encouraged to gather classmates, organize reunion groups and make Community Homecoming part of their fall plans.
Tickets may be purchased by visiting etix.com and searching “2026 Zizzer Homecoming Celebration.” Tickets also may be purchased at the West Plains Civic Center box office.
Community members can follow the West Plains Education Foundation Facebook page, @WestPlainsEducationFoundation, for event updates, foundation news and opportunities to support West Plains Schools.
