All are invited to see the Zizzer Pride Band performance at 7 p.m. today at the West Plains Civic Center, 110 St. Louis St.
“This performance is to show you what we have learned so far in our summer Band Camp, Guard Camp and Drumline Camp,” said band directors. The show is free and open to the public, and provides an opportunity for the community to meet new band directors A.J. Haessly and Zane Johnson. They join Melody Alford in leading the Zizzer musical programs. Longtime director Rocky Long will retire July 1.
“Our band is on FIRE this year with our musical theme ‘Burn!’” shared directors. “Come support our students and meet the two new band directors! We would love to meet parents and families of our students! Just tell us ‘who you belong to!’”
