Saturday, Oct. 5 was an absolutely beautiful day in West Plains, perfect for the community to come together for a meaningful cause. The streets were alive with the hum of spinning wheels as 113 bicyclists took part in the 5th annual "West Plains Rides for Pedal the Cause," a local effort contributing to innovative cancer research. With a goal of making a difference in the fight against cancer, the energy was high, and the spirit of camaraderie was palpable as riders of all ages came out to support the cause.
