2026 M*A*S*H Camp dates announced

Posted

Ozarks Healthcare has announced the return of its popular Medical Academy of Science and Health (M*A*S*H) Camp for summer 2026. Designed for students interested in exploring careers in health care, the camp offers a hands-on learning experience that brings the world of medicine to life, said organizers.

Hosted on Ozarks Healthcare’s main campus in West Plains, the program gives students a unique opportunity to engage with medical professionals, participate in interactive activities and experience behind-the-scenes access to a hospital setting. From clinical skills demonstrations to career exploration, campers gain valuable insight into the many paths available in the health care field.

Camp dates are based on the grade students will enter in the 2026-2027 school year. The session for students entering seventh and eighth grades will be held July 6. High school students entering ninth through 12th grades will attend July 7 through July 9, and the session for fifth and sixth grades will take place July 10.

Sessions will run daily from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with the exception of July 9, which will conclude at noon.

The cost to attend is $35 per student, which includes lunch, snacks and a camp T-shirt. Space is limited to 75 total seats across all sessions. Applications are currently open and will be accepted through June 1 or until all seats are filled. Interested students can apply online at www.ozarkshealthcare.com/about-us/for-community/mash-camp.
