Baxter Health expands medical staff with five new providers

Baxter Health has recently expanded its medical staff with the addition of five new providers across its specialty and family clinics in Mtn. Home, Ark.

Dr. Gerald Belopolsky has joined the Baxter Health Pulmonology Clinic, where he will practice pulmonary and critical care medicine alongside Dr. Brian Malte. Belopolsky brings more than 30 years of experience to the role, with a focus on lung disease, breathing machine management and lung cancer. He previously worked at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Altoona in Pennsylvania and served on the faculty at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Brandi Watson, advanced practice registered nurse, joined the Baxter Health Heart and Vascular Clinic on May 15. She brings more than 25 years of critical care experience, most recently serving as a stroke and neurology nurse practitioner. Watson holds board certifications as an adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner and an advanced neurovascular practitioner.

Mikalee "Brooke" Hinrichs, APRN, is now practicing alongside Dr. Maureen Flowers at the Baxter Health Comprehensive Women's Clinic. She previously worked as a registered nurse at the same clinic for six years. Her practice focuses on preventive women's health care, menopause management, wellness exams and gynecologic conditions.

Victoria Hampton, APRN, joined the Baxter Health College Street Family Clinic and began seeing patients on June 15. A board-certified family nurse practitioner, her training covers primary care, chronic disease management, mental health and pediatrics. She most recently served as the interim director of nursing at Arkansas State University-Mtn. Home.

Debra Schulte, APRN, began seeing patients at the Baxter Health Market Street Family Clinic on June 15, where she is practicing alongside Dr. John Baltz and Dr. Benjamin Stevens. She has nearly 30 years of patient care experience in the Mtn. Home area. Her practice focuses heavily on chronic disease management and women's heart health.
