The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded contracts for the Southeast District during its regular meeting on Wednesday. Contracts included pavement resurfacing and tree clearing.
Among the contracts awarded, $7.33 million went to Pace Construction Company for pavement resurfacing I Ozark, Shannon, Douglas, Texas Wright and Howell counties.
The roads to be resurfaced are P Highway from U.S. 160 to the end of state maintenance and H Highway from Highway 180 to U.S. 160, both in Ozark County; EE Highway from Highway 19 to the end of state maintenance in Shannon County; DD Highway from Highway 76 to the end of state maintenance and AM Highway from Highway 181 to U.S. 60, both in Douglas County; DD Highway from Highway 17 to H Highway in Texas County; U Highway from A Highway to Highway 76 in Wright County; and PP Highway from U.S. 63 to F Highway in Howell County.
Pace Construction, based in West Plains, was also awarded an $831,000 contract to resurface pavement resurfacing in Butler County.
