Mark your calendars: Our Fall Festival is Oct. 24 and will once again feature our vendors-only Chili Cook-off and Pumpkin Carving Contest. Customers will vote for the best chili and most creative pumpkin! We will have events for the kiddos along with lots of great food and crafters. Keep watching this column for more details to come soon.

This week, Falling Spring Farm is serving all of their drinks in cute, reusable "Boo Buckets!” Stop by their booth for kombucha on tap, iced coffee, boba drinks and fresh-squeezed lemonade.

Join us this Saturday for fall produce, fall mums, lots of fall baked goods, hot food, local meats, artisan crafts and, of course, great camaraderie!

Market Staples

Our food court lineup for Saturday includes:

• Layers Cake Company: jar cakes and barbecue items.

• Tamales To Go: authentic Mexican food and drinks.

• The Two Sisters Sweets: vanilla ice cream and root beer floats.

• Tribal Cajun: authentic Cajun specialties.

In addition to the above, a brief sample of our regular weekly items includes tallow products, beeswax candles, gluten-free and dye-free baked goods, raw local honey, Olga's Bee Venom Cream, self-defense keychains, health and beauty products, jalapeño jams, pickled and fermented foods, yogurt and sourdough starters, DIY ferment kits, freeze-dried fruits and much more!

The market runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. (weather permitting) in the Endurance Church parking lot, 805 Worley Drive in West Plains (next to Hirsch Feed & Farm Supply). We accept SNAP/EBT, Double Up Food Bucks (DUBS), Senior Vouchers, cash, credit and debit cards.
