‘GO FARM’ FARMER’S MARKET: Fresh blackberries, peaches and homemade ice cream arrive for summer

Posted

Fresh summer produce has arrived at the market, with even more varieties on the way soon! Brassfield Farms now has fresh blackberries, peaches, tomatoes, onions, potatoes, squash and zucchini. Plus, they will be milling fresh flour onsite this Saturday.

Welcome Two New Vendors

We welcome two new vendors to our market lineup this week. Atlee and Ester Hertzler join us with homemade ice cream, beautiful fresh-cut flower bouquets and handmade crafts.

Abby Eldringhoff, owner of Barefoot Holler, also joins the market. Her booth features a wonderful selection of home-remedy and culinary items, including jams, syrups, pickled products, pure vanilla extract, dried herbs and rabbit meat.

Food Court Favorites

Our food vendors frequently sell out, so come early!

Grassy Hill Farms will be serving up authentic Filipino cuisine, Tamales-To-Go features authentic Mexican favorites, and JLP Catering will be on hand with their signature Italian specialties.

Holiday Prep and Market Extras

Independence Day is just around the corner, and America’s 250th anniversary celebration is underway. Many of our vendors are creating patriotic-themed products to help commemorate this historic milestone.

Leona Somoza will be back at the market this Saturday with her popular, handcrafted patriotic T-shirts and a variety of other items she makes herself.

For those looking for specialty items, Harper Family Farms provides alpha-gal syndrome-friendly products weekly, including specialty food items, shampoos, conditioners, lotions and personal care products.

Are you an entertainer interested in busking for tips at the market? Contact us for details!
