ARRESTS

Justin Lee Hale, 24, was arrested Dec. 18 on an Oregon County warrant for failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge and released the same day on $1,000 bond. Deputy Michael Lewis.

Billy Dean Fisher, 37, was arrested Dec. 18 on a charge of first-degree violation of an order of protection and released the following day on $5,000 bond. Deputy James Wardrip.

Morgan Leanne Biddle, 39, was arrested Dec. 19 on a Texas County warrant for failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge and released the same day on $248 cash bond. Lt. Jason Long.

Paul A. Vincent, 35, was arrested Dec. 19 on three counts of a charge of second-degree domestic assault and released the same day on $20,000 bond. West Plains Police Officer Austin Deshazo.

Justin Glenn Stepp, 33, was arrested Dec. 19 on charges of driving while revoked or suspended, repeat offense; driving another person’s vehicle knowing the owner had not maintained financial responsibility; and driving in a careless and imprudent manner. He was released Dec. 21 on $950 cash bond. Deputy Wardrip.

Justin Leroy Soard, 33, was arrested Dec. 19 on Texas County charges of driving while revoked or suspended, failure to register vehicle and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released Dec. 20 on $500 cash bond. Missouri State Highway Patrol Tpr. Battreal.

John William Johnson, 52, was arrested Dec. 19 on a charge of second-degree assault and released the following day on $7,500 bond.

Tara Denis Has, 35, was arrested Dec. 20 on a warrant for failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge and released the same day on $250 bond. Deputy Austin Ryan.

Jason Paul Emmel, 42, was arrested Dec. 21 on a warrant for failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge and released the same day on $1,000 bond. West Plains Police Officer Chris Barrett.

Hunter Vance Townsley, 25, was arrested Dec. 21 on a charge of first-degree property damage and released the same day on $5,000 bond. Deputy Lewis.

Billy Joe Greer, 43, was arrested Dec. 21 on two warrants for failure to appear on felony charges and held on $10,000 bond. Jailer Brenton Fine.

Tiffany Nichole Shannon, 38, was arrested Dec. 21 on a warrant for failure to appear on a felony charge and held on $10,000 bond. Jailer Fine.

Marvin Henderson Wake, 42, was arrested Friday on a charge of driving without a valid license and released the same day without bond. Deputy Brandon Meacham.

Tesfaalem G. Tekle, 50, was arrested Saturday on a charge of driving while intoxicated and released the same day without bond. Deputy Jared Hummel.

Jason Albert Sanders, 36, was arrested Saturday on charges of armed criminal action, two counts; first-degree assault or attempt and first-degree robbery. He is held on $25,000 bond. Deputy Dylan Webb.

Jarrett Loyd Miller, 42, was arrested Saturday on a charge of driving while intoxicated and released the same day without bond. Deputy Robert Malone.

Ronald Gerald Christensen, 70, was arrested Saturday on a charge of possession of a firearm by a felon, and released the following day without bond. Deputy Malone.

Jessica Dawn Tison, 42, was arrested Saturday on a Wright County charge of possession of a controlled substance and held without bond. Deputy Hummel.

Rosetta Marie Post, 58, was arrested Sunday on a charge of possession and released the following day without bond. Deputy Meacham.

INCIDENT REPORTS

At 1:56 p.m. Dec. 18, Deputy Jacob Hamby was dispatched to County Road 1290 in Willow Springs for a call regarding stealing and property damage. A report was taken and the case is under investigation.

Deputy Tessa Jens was advised by dispatch at 4:48 p.m. Dec. 18 of a woman in the sheriff’s lobby who wanted to report a violation of an order of protection. She spoke to the woman and a report was completed. A probable cause statement will be sent to the county prosecutor’s office for review.

At 5:34 p.m. Dec. 18, Deputy Wardrip was dispatched to a home on WW Highway in Mtn. View for a violation of an order of protection. The suspect was taken to the county jail and placed on a 24-hour hold.

Deputy Ryan was dispatched at 10:11 a.m. Dec. 19 to respond to a call regarding stealing in the area of U.S. 60 in Mtn. View. The victim reported more than $15,000 worth of property was stolen. The case is under investigation and a report was taken.

At 1:03 p.m. Dec. 19, Deputy Hamby was notified of stealing at Bullseye convenience store in Caulfield. Video footage was reviewed and a suspect was identified.

Deputy Rayn was notified at 1:42 p.m. Dec. 19 of a person in the lobby who wanted to file a report of trespassing that occurred in the area of County Road 3810. The suspect is the victim’s brother, who faces similar charges in Ripley County. A report was taken and charges will be forwarded to the county prosecutor’s office.

At 4:42 p.m. Dec. 19, Deputy First Class Dakota Millard was dispatched to Mtn. View Police Department to take possession of a firearm that was involved in a crime. The weapon was placed in evidence at the sheriff’s office and a report was taken.

Deputy Ryan was dispatched at 10:06 a.m. Dec. 20 to the area of County Road 6050 for a death investigation; an elderly man had been pronounced dead by emergency medical personnel. A report was taken.

At 10:23 a.m. Dec. 20, Deputy Kyle Parrish spoke to a woman at the sheriff’s office who reported her son as a missing person. He was last seen at about 10 p.m. Dec. 2 at his home on AB Highway. The case is under investigation.

Deputy Jens was advised by dispatch at 11 a.m. Dec. 20 of a stolen vehicle in Mtn. View, and a suspicious vehicle at a home on County Road 1990 in Willow Springs reported around the same time and matching the description of the stolen vehicle. The vehicle was recovered at the home and a report was completed. The case is under investigation.

At 11:49 p.m. Dec. 21, Deputy Meacham stopped a northbound vehicle on U.S. 63. A ticket was issued with a court date for a charge of driving on a highway without a valid license.

Deputy Hummel saw a vehicle at 12:23 a.m. Saturday traveling east on Broadway near College Street cross the white fog line on the right side of the road. A man was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated.

At 5:04 a.m. Saturday, deputies were dispatched to an address on County Road 5120 in Willow Springs for property damage. The suspect was not located at the time of the report and investigation continues. Deputy Webb.

Deputy Webb was dispatched at 11:50 am. Saturday to an address on County Road 1820 in West Plains for a theft report. The reporting party had returned home and noticed two firearms and some silver had been taken from inside the residence. A report was taken and an investigation is ongoing.

At 2:40 p.m. Saturday, Deputy Webb was dispatched to the lobby of the sheriff’s office for a theft report. The reporting party said someone took a camper trailer from her property around Dec. 1. A report was taken.

Deputy Meacham was dispatched at 8:20 p.m. Saturday to a home on AB Highway for a weapons offense. No action was taken as there was no probable cause. A report is on file.

At 12:53 a.m. Sunday, Deputy Malone reported that at 7:01 p.m. the previous day, he had been dispatched for a possible drunk driver parked in the middle of East U.S. 160. The driver was arrested and taken to the Howell County jail.

Deputy Meacham stopped a vehicle at 1:14 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of Cass Street and Arkansas Avenue. A probable cause statement will be sent to county prosecutors for a charge of possession of a controlled substance.

At 3:33 a.m. Sunday, Deputy Malone reported that at 10:48 the previous night he was notified by dispatched of a court order violation on K Highway in Pottersville. After investigation, a man was taken into custody. Charges are being filed with the county prosecutor’s office.
