ARRESTS

David Paul Grammar, 26, was arrested Nov. 27 on Texas County charges of failure to register vehicle and driving a vehicle without maintaining financial responsibility. He was released the following day on $1,000 cash bond. Deputy Timothy Gordon.

Joseph Zeke Stark, 38, was arrest Nov. 27 on a charge of criminal contempt of court and released Nov. 29 without bond. Deputy Gordon.

Christopher Michael Belcher, 36, was arrested Nov. 27 on Texas County charges of driving while revoked or suspended, repeat offense; failure to properly affix or maintain plates; and possession of a controlled substance. He was released the following day on $3,500 cash bond.

John Lloyd Gaffey, 47, was arrested on five Willow Springs warrants for failure to appear on infractions or municipal ordinance violations. He was released the same day on $2,800 bond, $700 of which was cash. Deputy Paden Turnbull.

John Joseph Boudoin, 33, was arrested Nov. 27 on two Oregon County warrants for failure to appear on felony charges, plus a hold for the Missouri Department of Corrections. He is held on $32,500 bond for the warrants and no bond for the DOC hold. Jailer Joshua Knehans.

Kyla Nachelle Priele, 33, was arrested Nov. 27 on a charge of stealing a vehicle and held on $10,000 bond. Deputy Brandon Meacham.

McKenzie Emily Moss, 21, was arrested Nov. 28 on a Douglas County warrant for failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge and released the same day on $300 cash bond. West Plains Police Officer Jacob Brixey.

Jose L. Peralta, 67, was arrested Nov. 28 on a charge of driving while intoxicated and released the following day without bond. Cpl. Matt Foster.

Gregory S. Bates, 56, was arrested Nov. 29 on a warrant for failure to appear on a felony charge, plus a charge of driving a vehicle without maintaining financial responsibility. He was released Saturday on $750 cash bond. Missouri State Highway Patrol Tpr. T.M. Broyles.

Justin Lloyd Gregory, 34, was arrested Nov. 29 on a warrant for driving while revoked or suspended and released the same day without bond. Deputy Talon Millard.

Johnson Cody Burks, 35, was arrested Nov. 29 on charges of receiving stolen property and unlawful possession of a weapon. He was released the same day on $5,000 bond. Deputy Meacham.

John Richard Bowles III, 19, was arrested Nov. 29 on a charge of first-degree property damage and released the same day on $5,000 bond. Patrol Tpr. J.J. Smith.

Justice Blake Martin, 19, was arrested Nov. 29 on a charge of driving while suspended and released with a ticket the same day. Cpl. Nicholas Bruno.

Kelby Dean Hustler, 22, was arrested Nov. 29 on a charge of driving while intoxicated and released with a ticket the same day. Cpl. Brian Jackson.

Dustin Levi Walker, 42, was arrested Nov. 30 on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and held on $5,000 bond. Deputy Robert Malone.

John D. Taylor, 44, was arrested Nov. 30 on charges of forgery, two counts, and stealing, value at least $750. He is held on $25,000 bond. Deputy Michael Lewis.

Kristopher H. Rowsey, 48, was arrested Nov. 30 on a charge of unlawful possession of a firearm and held on $7,500 bond. Deputy Lewis.

Jason William Chapman, 42, was arrested Nov. 30 on a charge of second-degree domestic assault and released Saturday on $5,000 bond. Deputy Meacham.

Kyle Glenn Wilbanks, 33, was arrested Nov. 30 on charges of second-degree domestic assault and stealing by physically taking an object. He was released the same day on $5,000 bond. West Plains Police Officer Levi Endress.

Shana Joy Blackall, 36, was arrested Friday on a warrant for failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge and held on $500 cash bond. Deputy Lewis.

Jared Lee Simpson, 27, was arrested Friday on a warrant for failure to appear on a felony charge and held on $5,000 bond. Jailer Knehans.

Lisa R. Callais, 56, was arrested Sunday on a warrant for failure to appear on a felony charge and released the same day on $15,000 bond. West Plains Police Cpl. Thomas Manning.

Gary Wayne Collins, 60, was arrested Sunday on a Douglas County probation violation warrant and released the same day without bond. Jailer Andrew Evins.

Billy Joe Compton, 49, was arrested Sunday on a charge of first-degree domestic assault involving serious physical injury and released the same day on $50,000 bond. Jailer Knehans.

Joanna L. Carter, 46, was arrested Friday on a charge of delivery of a controlled substance and held on $10,000 bond.

INCIDENT REPORTS

At 9:34 a.m. Nov. 27, Deputy Dylan Webb was dispatched to the lobby of the sheriff’s office to talk with a person who wanted to file a report for stalking. She stated she filed for divorce in October, and since then, her husband had been calling, texting and following her from place to place. A report was taken.

Deputy Meacham was dispatched at 12:28 p.m. Nov. 27 to the 600 block of East Fifth Street in Mtn. View for a complaint of stealing. Suspects were arrested and taken to the county jail, and a probable cause affadavit sent to the prosecutor’s office for charges of stealing a vehicle, receiving stolen property, possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, and unlawful possession of an illegal weapon.

At 12:30 p.m. Nov. 28, Deputy Meacham was dispatched to the 6100 block of County Road 3400 in Mtn. View for property damage. A statement form was left with the victim to fill out and turn in. No suspect has been identified.

Deputy Millard arrested a man at 2:04 a.m. Nov. 29 on charges of driving on a suspended license and being in possession of narcotics and drug paraphernalia. The man was booked and released pending formal charges.

At 12:07 p.m. Nov. 29, Jailer Leekota Amore reported an inmate informed him she had been assaulted.

Deputy First Class Jared Hummel reported that at 8:05 p.m. Nov. 29 he received a complaint at the sheriff’s office regarding a threat being made through the mail. No suspect has been identified.

At 10:40 p.m. Nov. 29, Deputy Malone was on general patrol and saw a black sedan traveling south on County Road 8470 with equipment violations. The driver was arrested on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and placed on a 24-hour hold pending formal charges.

Deputy Millard took a call from dispatch at 3:21 a.m. Nov. 30 regarding a vehicle stolen from K Highway in West Plains. A report was taken and charges will be filed with the county prosecutor’s office for review. The case was forwarded to investigators and the vehicle remains missing.

At 2:52 p.m. Nov. 30, an inmate contacted Jailer Amore to report threats. A report was taken and sent to the investigations division.

Deputy Meacham stopped a vehicle at 4 p.m. Nov. 30 at the intersection of County Road 2990 and U.S. 60 in Mtn. View. A probable cause statement will be sent to county prosecutors for possession of controlled substances and and drug paraphernalia.

At 10:45 p.m. Nov. 30, Lt. Torey Thompson reported he had been asked two days prior to review a case for the Mtn. View Police Department due to a conflict of interest. The case remains under investigation.

Deputy Malone was dispatched at 3:17 a.m. Friday to a call on the 1700 block of U.S. 63 regarding a sex offense. Investigation is ongoing.

At 5:01 p.m. Friday, Deputy Austin Ryan was dispatched to the 8500 block of County Road 8030 for an unresponsive elderly woman; before he arrived, she was pronounced dead. A report was taken.

Deputy Shaun Duggins was dispatched at 1:34 a.m. Saturday to County Road 6330 to assist with an incident of arson involving a carport. A report was taken.

At 11:26 a.m. Saturday, Deputy Jacob Hamby was dispatched to the 6100 block of U.S. 60 in Mtn. View for a well-being check. After investigation, a woman was taken to Mercy St. Francis Hospital and formal charges of first-degree domestic assault will be sought.

Deputy Gordon was dispatched at 7:36 p.m. Saturday to County Road 2660 in Mtn. View to check the well-being of a child. He spoke to a parent who was able to demonstrate the child was with them and safe.

At 6:11 a.m. Sunday, Cpl. Seth Smith was dispatched to County Road 5730 for a report of child endangerment. An investigation was completed and no charges are being filed at this time.

Cpl. Logan Wake reported at 3:55 p.m. Sunday that investigation is being conducted into statements made Oct. 23 by youths who alleged their stepfather had pointed a pistol a child’s head.

At 4:20 p.m. Sunday, Deputy First Class Dakota Millard was dispatched to County Road 2720 near Willow Springs for a report of a domestic assault involving a firearm. When he arrived, the suspect had already left. Voluntary statements and images were gathered and a probable cause statement will be sent to the county prosecutor’s office.
