The Missouri State Highway Patrol and the Department of Public Safety have launched a new website for the public to report suspicious activities, replacing the former SafeNation app.
Missourians can now report potential terrorist-related or suspicious activities online through the "Show-Me Shield" portal at www.showmeshield.mo.gov. Law enforcement professionals will review all submissions to determine if further investigation is warranted.
Additionally, the state’s Courage2Report school violence and anti-bullying hotline has transitioned to a new website at www.courage2reportmo.com. Tips remain strictly confidential and can also be submitted 24 hours a day by calling 866-748-7047.
Officials noted that both the SafeNation and Courage2Report mobile apps have been permanently deactivated and are no longer monitored.
