Kaitlyn Anne Dressler, Nixa, was ticketed at 10:17 a.m. Dec. 8 on a charge of speeding by 11-15 mph over. Officer Cary Gates.

Tristan Levi Smith, Willow Springs, was ticketed at noon Dec. 8 on charges of failure to register vehicle, driving a vehicle without maintaining financial responsibility and displaying the plates of another. Officer Gates.

Aiden Max Simpson, West Plains, was ticketed at 12:19 p.m. Dec. 8 on a charge of speeding by 11-15 mph over. Officer Jim Hedlesten.

Kimberly Slack Clemons, Ballwin, was ticketed at 12:44 p.m. Dec. 8 on a charge of speeding by 11-15 mph over. Officer Hedlesten.

Kiesha Mae Bates-Whitmer, Indianapolis, Ind., was ticketed at 9:40 a.m. Dec. 14 on a charge of speeding by 11-15 mph over. Officer Gates.

Yu Ming Yang, Rowland Heights, Calif., was ticketed at 1:20 p.m. Dec. 14 on a charge of speeding by 11-15 mph over. Officer Gates.

James C. Benkert, Mtn. Grove, was ticketed at 2:25 p.m. Dec. 14 on a charge of speeding by 16-19 mph over. Officer Hedlesten.

Kristy L. Reynolds, Bolivar, was ticketed at 3:50 p.m. Dec. 14 on a charge of speeding by 16-19 mph over. Officer Hedlesten.

Justice Blake Martin, West Plains, was ticketed at 4:07 p.m. Saturday on a charge of driving while revoked or suspended. Officer Gates.

Brad Vernon Curvin, Big Rock, Tenn. was ticketed at 10:14 a.m. Sunday on a charge of speeding by 11-15 mph over. Officer Hedlesten.

David A. Dawodu, Lakeland, Tenn., was ticketed at 2:07 p.m. Sunday on a charge of speeding by 11-15 mph over. Officer Hedlesten.

INCIDENT REPORTS

At 3:57 a.m. Dec. 8, police were dispatched by Howell County 911 to a crash on U.S. 60/63 in which a truck had struck a guardrail over the intersection of Industrial Drive and was partially blocking the passing lane. Officers Jake Cronin and David Struble responded to find the driver had already left the scene. Struble stayed at the scene while Cronin went to find the driver. The driver was found at a nearby gas station, and was discovered to be wanted on two felony warrants and subsequently arrested and taken to the Howell County Jail.

Officer Hedlesten stopped a vehicle for speeding at 1:42 p.m. Dec. 10 on North Harris Street. The driver was found to be wanted on a Texas County warrant for failure to appear and was taken into custody. A cash bond of $120 was posted and a the driver was given a court date for Jan. 10 in Texas County.

At 10:05 a.m. Dec. 11, Officer Hocking made a traffic stop on eastbound U.S. 60/63 on a Chevrolet pickup truck with no rear registration lights. The driver was found to have a revoked license and taken into custody to be booked and released with a ticket.

Officers Ryan McGinnis and Cronin responded at 10:23 p.m. Friday to Booster Field for a call regarding a disturbance. Investigation is ongoing.

At 4:34 p.m. Saturday, Officer Gates reported that at 3:52 p.m. he noticed a green Ford Mustang westbound on Main Street making too much noise as it passed Casey’s General Store. After stopping the vehicle, it was learned that the driver’s privileges were suspended.

Officers Joe Barnhouse and Hocking responded at 6:17 p.m. Sunday to the Star Theatre for a youth in possession of a vape pen. A report was taken.

At 9:57 a.m. Monday, Officer Hocking was called to a home on East High Street for an assault between a youth and an adult. A report was taken and municipal assault charges are being filed.

Officer McGinnis responded at 9:50 p.m. Monday to the 800 block of East Main Street for a traffic crash involving a deer.
