Toni L. Joyce, 42, Dora, was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 7:48 a.m. Monday on CC Highway, 6 miles west of West Plains in Howell County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Msgt. T.W. Meyer, Troop G, Willow Springs, reported an eastbound 2018 Chevrolet Traverse driven by Joyce crossed the center line into the path of a westbound 2019 Dodge Ram 1500 driven by Logan R. Black, 32, West Plains.

The vehicles sideswiped and the Chevrolet ran off the road and struck a tree, Meyer reported.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts and Joyce was transported by ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains for treatment of moderate injuries. No injuries were reported for Black.

A West Plains man suffered minor injuries in a chain-reaction crash involving three vehicles at 2:01 p.m. Friday on east U.S. 160, a mile east of West Plains.

Msgt. Meyer reported a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix driven by Vernon W. Decker, 27, West Plains, and a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Roger P. Smith, 44, Alton, had slowed in the westbound lane for a vehicle making a turn.

A 17-year-old girl from Mtn. Home, Ark., was the driver of a 2005 Pontiac Sunfire, also heading west; Meyer stated she failed to see the vehicles had slowed and her car rear-ended the Grand Prix, pushing it into the pickup truck.

Each driver wore a seat belt and Decker was taken by private vehicle to Ozarks Healthcare for treatment, the report shows. No injuries were reported for Smith or the teen driver, whose identity is not reported by the patrol as protected information because she is a minor.

A semitruck overturned at 3:15 a.m. Monday on south U.S. 63, 4 miles south of West Plains, resulting in minor injuries to a man from Brooklyn, N.Y.

Tpr. A.K. Falterman reported a northbound 2021 Volvo tractor-trailer driven by Davron Rozikov, 24, ran off the right side of the road, where it overturned. Davron was wearing a seat belt, and was transported to Ozarks Healthcare for treatment, the report shows.

Falterman was assisted at the scene by Tprs. T.D. Pond and C.C. Battreal.

Paul L. Hart, 72, Ava, suffered moderate injuries in a two-vehicle crash at 7:10 p.m. Saturday on Highway 413, a half-mile south of Springfield in Greene County.

Cpl. D.L. Johnson, Troop D of the patrol, Springfield, reported a northbound 2016 Chevrolet Equinox driven by a 17-year-old Springfield boy failed to yield and made a left turn into the path of a southbound 2016 Toyota Camry driven by Nancy Leach-Smith, 66, Mt. Vernon.

The impact of the crash caused the Chevrolet to overturn and the teen suffered moderate injuries, as did Leach-Smith and passenger Hart. All were wearing seat belts and were transported by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for treatment, according to the patrol.

Johnson was assisted at the scene by Cpl. D.W. Henley.
