Beginning Thursday, visitors to www.westplainsdailyquill.net will see a refreshed layout engineered for faster navigation, clearer story grouping, estimated reading times and an improved mobile reading experience.
The transition marks the Quill’s first major content management system migration since 2019. The new platform is designed to be more user-friendly, making browsing daily news, sports, community features, obituaries and special sections more intuitive across desktop, tablet and smartphone screens.
Subscribers to the Quill’s digital newsletters will also notice an updated look in their inbox as email delivery upgrades alongside the site. The refreshed newsletters will automatically deliver top local headlines directly from the new platform.
While the technical team is working to ensure a seamless migration of all archives and current content, readers are advised that brief disruption or temporary missing content may occur as data transfers over during Thursday’s launch window.
