In uncertified results from Tuesday’s election in Texas County, 84.7% of the votes for 8th District U.S. Representative went to Republican incumbent Jason Smith, with 13.2% going to Democratic challenger Randi McCallian and a little over 2% to Libertarian Jake Dawson. Smith won re-election districtwide.
